Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide Honoured Chief Mrs Nice Alamieyeseigha as “GOLDEN BRIDE OF IJAW NATION” for her Humanitarian Services [VIDEO]

Chief Dr (Mrs) Nice Toboulayefa Alamieyesigha has been honoured in Amassoma by the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide for her engagement in humanitarian service to women and youth empowerment in Ijaw nation and Nigeria.

The recipient Chief Dr (Mrs) Nice Toboulayefa Alamieyesigha was overwhelmed with the award confirmed on her as “the golden bride of Ijaw”. She said this award is a global path on her back.

She is the first woman to be honoured with ‘the golden bride of Ijaw’ award. She thanked the IYC Worldwide for recognizing her humanitarian activities and spoke of upcoming collaborations with IYC.

The awardee Chief Dr (Mrs) Nice Toboulayefa Alamieyesigha encouraged other women to get involved in charity, she added that humanitarian service can be started from little that she started it from her school days.

Earlier, while presenting the award to Chief Dr (Mrs) Nice Toboulayefa, the President IYC Worldwide, Barr. Pereotubo Oweilaemi commended the recipient for her kind gesture through Nice-Esther For All Foundation (NEFAF) and Nice-Esther Alamieyesigha Rescue Initiative NEARI) that has over twelve years assisted the less privileged, physically challenged with walking aids, hearing aids, housing schemes, as well as given soft loans.

The IYC Chairman Eastern zone, Comrade Sammy George decorated the recipient with an IYC muffler. He said they found the awardee worthy as she stands out in her humanitarian services.

Other IYC zonal chairmen and executives said the award is well deserved and encouraged others to emulate her.

Also, the APC Vice Chairman SILGA, Abosi Felagha and a representative of Nice-Esther Rescue Initiative and Nice-Esther For All Foundation thanked IYC Worldwide for recognizing the humanitarian services of their founder/president.

Among those present were the Ebenanaowei of Ogboin Clan, HRM Waripamo Jones Ere, IYC members and some beneficiaries of Nice-Esther For All Foundation (NEFAF) and Nice-Esther Alamieyesigha Rescue Initiative (NEARI).
